In most cases fingerprints are best taken when your child is at least 12 months old so that the grooves in the fingerprint are deep enough to make a good impression into the silver.  Of course, we do adults’ fingerprints too.

For newborns and young babies we often find that handprint or footprint jewellery works better and fingerprint jewellery can always be done as a milestone “one-year old” gift to Mum!
